Danielle Hardiman came in at pick 35 in the 2016 draft and made her debut in the historic opening game of AFLW. After overcoming an ankle injury in 2017, Danielle averaged 8.2 disposals per game in the 2018 season as a defender for the Blues.
Danielle says:
“I’m really looking to improve my fitness and just my all-round game. It makes it hard only playing a couple of games a year like I have.
“I’ve definitely got lots of things to work on, but fitness is definitely one of those main ones, and loud communication as well,”.
Her ability to play one-on-one, as well as run off her opponent and take intercept marks saw her finish runner-up in the Club’s best and fairest.
