Having kicked 31 goals in 44 games for the Cats, Lang arrives at Ikon Park with the ability to play run through the middle and push up forward. After making his debut in 2014, the Colac local has been a consistent contributor for Geelong, playing in a variety of roles.
He received a Rising Star nomination in 2015 after a breakout performance against St Kilda and was a standout in Geelong’s win against Hawthorn on Easter Monday last year.
The 21-year-old predominantly played as a high half-forward for Geelong in 2017, before injury interrupted his season. In a testament to his character and desire to push for senior selection, Lang recovered in time to be recalled for Geelong’s finals campaign, starring against Sydney in the semi-final.
