The first Next Generation Academy player taken by Richmond, the Bendigo Pioneer also spent time in 2017 playing for Richmond’s VFL side. From Mildura, a traditional Richmond FC zone, Smith is a classy half back who uses the ball well.
He trained with the VFL Tigers this year and played five matches for Craig McRae’s side.
