In a stellar first season as Gold Coast’s co-captain, Jarrod Witts claimed the club’s top honour by taking out the Best & Fairest. The 26-year-old broke the record for most hit outs in a regular season, registering 1008 from his 22 games at an average of 45.82. His work at ground level was also exceptional, with the ruckman averaging 15 disposals, three marks and three tackles per game.
